THE PLAYER

THIS IS ANKE QUAST FROM KWAKEL, HOCKEY PLAYER AT LOHC. Anke comes from a hockey family so from the moment she could walk, she walked around the club with a hockey stick. She played her entire youth at Qui Vive and also played in the Ladies 1 for several years. She currently plays with a Stag Pro 95 at LOHC Ladies 1 in the promotion league and plays as a low pivot and at the freeman position.

Her career highlights were mainly in the past year where she competed in the Promotion league for the first year. Her choice to leave her old familiar club was very difficult, but she thinks it was 100% worth it. She has challenged herself and learned a lot this year. We wish Anke continued success!
